perfect for any of the south Indian food. Roasted channa dal is main ingredient
for this chutney. Now begin with me to prepare this perfect south Indian

Chutney Ingredients:
|
1 cup
nariyal (grated)
|
1 large
teaspoon channa dal
|
4-5
green chili
|
1 large
teaspoon ginger garlic paste
|
Salt as
per your taste
|
1
teaspoon oil
|
3-4 red
chili
|
½ teaspoon
urad dal
|
1/2
teaspoon rai
|
Kitchen utensils required:
- 9 bowls (I prefer: Borosil Mixing Bowl)
- 1 Mixer-grinder( I prefer: Prestige Hero 550- Watt Mixer Grinder)
- 1 non-stick tava (I prefer: Vinod Cookware Dosa Tava)
- 1 Grater (I prefer: Pearl Store Easy Grater)
- 1 Water jug
Step by step procedure:
Step-1 Take grinder, add grated nariyal, water in that. Grind it to
very fine paste.
Step-2 Now take
out nariyal paste into a deep bowl.
Step-3 Take tawa
and add channa dal. Fry it for few seconds without adding oil. When channa dal
is fried well then take chhana dal and green chilly in a grinder and make fine
paste of it. Now mix this paste with nariyal paste.
Step-4 On the
tava add oil. Let it become hot, now add ginger garlic paste, stir well and let
it fry for few seconds. When done, add this with nariyal and channa dal paste.
Step-5 Now add
salt and water according to your taste and need.
Step-6 Tadka for
chutney
Take tava, add oil, let it become
hot, now add rai, urad dal, red chili and cook it for few seconds.
When done, add it to the chutney bowl.
Serve it with idli, dosa or any
south Indian dish..
Tips:
- Don’t add too much water in chutney.
- Adjust green chilly according to your taste.
