Butterscotch kajoo praline “Ice Cream”Recipe

In summer, Ice-cream is an in-demand dessert for every age group people, specialy kids. My son likes to have it every day so looking to his interest, I finally decided to prepare it at home. The main ingredient in this recipe is cream. Once you know how to prepare whipped cream, then making Ice-cream would be really easy. Today I have planned to prepare one of most popular and loved butterscotch Ice-cream. The nuts praline used in this takes its taste close to that of popular ice-cream brands yet hygienic that you can trust. So lets brace ourself against this summer heat with this delightful recipe.
 
Ingredients:

7-8 Ice cubes


Praline Ingredients:
1 large teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon butter
6-7 cashew (kajoo)

Ice cream Ingredients:
1 Amul low fat cream
2 large teaspoon powder sugar
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon praline
4-5 drops of butterscotch essence
Pinch of food color
   
   
   











Kitchen utensils required:
  • 1 Silicone Spatula (I prefer: Rena Germany-Combo-Silicon Spatula)
  • 1 Mixer-grinder( I prefer: Prestige Hero 550- Watt Mixer Grinder)
  • 12 bowls (I prefer: Borosil Mixing Bowl)
  • 1 Electric hand blender (I prefer: Orpat OHM 207 Hand Blender)
  • 1 non-stick pan (I prefer: Vinod Zest Non- Stick Friendly Pan)



Step by step procedure:

Step-1 Make praline

Heat pan, add sugar and continuously stir, when sugar melt then add butter and mix both very well. Now add finely chopped kajoo into pan. Grease the plate and transfer the mix into that plate. Let it cool down completely.  Mix will become hard. You can either crush the hard mix with your palm or transfer it into grinder and grind it for just 1 second. Your praline is ready.

Step-2 Make whipped cream

Take bowl and keep it in freeze for 30 minutes. Also keep amul low fat cream in freeze for 30 minutes. Now take out bowl and cream from freeze. In the bowl add amul cream (remove watery part) and that bowl on the large bowl with ice cubes. Now whip the cream with electric hand blender for 2 minutes. Now add powder sugar into it and whip it again for 7-8 minutes, until you get whipped cream. 

Step-3 Make Ice-Cream
Take bowl of whipped cream and add milk, butterscotch essence, food color, praline and mix everything well. Keep it in freezer for 12 hours. Your ice cream is ready. Scoop the ice cream and enjoy.

Tips:
  • Don’t whip the cream for very long time.
  • Use 0 and 1 speed of electric blender.
