Crispy “Bhatura”



“Bhatura” Recipe

Bhatura is one of the most famous and easily available food in any restaurant of India. It goes perfect with chhola. With lots of experiments and failures, now i got big success in making bhatura’s... :-) So dear friends come and join me to make this yummy recipe of crispy bhatura’s.






Ingredients:


Oil for deep frying
Cold water as required

Bhatura dough  Ingredients:
1 large cup maida (all-purpose flour)
1 teaspoon oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon yogurt
1 teaspoon suji



















Kitchen utensils required:
  • 1 non-stick pan (I prefer: Vinod Zest Non- Stick Friendly Pan)
  • 1 Spatula (I prefer: PINDIA Wooden Curved Spoons)
  • 7 bowls (I prefer: Borosil Mixing Bowl)

  •  1 Water jug


Step by step procedure:
Prepare dough

Step-1 Take bowl, add maida, ghee, suji, salt, sugar, yogurt. Mix everything very well.

Step-2 Add cold water and knead the dough very well.

Step-3 Keep aside the dough for 2 hours at warm place.

Make bhature

Step-1 Take deep fry pan, heat it. Add refine oil or ghee. Heat the oil at high flame. Prepare bhatura by using rolling pin. Put oil on rolling pin and the surface on which you are preparing bhatura’s.

Step-2 Make bhatura shape as you like. Now put one bhatura in a very hot oil of pan and cook it from both the sides.

Similarly prepare all the bhatura’s.
Enjoy it with chhola.

Tips:

  •   Don’t add too much suji in the dough.

  •  Oil should be very hot while cooking bhatura's.
