Lauki garam masala “kofta” Recipe

Kofta gravy is among my top favorites and I am sure
it is loved by every age group people. Kofta made with any stuffing tastes just
yummy, but lauki kofta is among top of my list. This recipe is something very
awesome, takes very less time to prepare and don’t needs lots of veggies or
masala ingredients. Lauki can be easily taken from market and really good for
health...have a look on the recipe.
1 large onion
1 small tomato
1 star anise
1 small stick Cinnamon
2 teaspoon oil
1 cup water
Oil for deep frying
Salt as per your taste
Garam Masala Ingredients:

2 small teaspoon coriander seeds
|
1 teaspoon fennel seed
|
1 green cardamom
|
1/2 stick cinnamon
|
5-6 Black Pepper seeds
|
8-9 garlic clove
|
3-4 red chili
|
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
|
Kofta
Ingredients:
|
1small size bottle gourd
(peeled
and grated)
|
1
large teaspoon besan
|
1/2
teaspoon garam masala powder
|
½
teaspoon black paper
|
Salt
as per your taste
|
Kitchen utensils required:
- 2 non-stick pan (I prefer: Vinod Zest Non- Stick Friendly Pan)
- 2 Spatula (I prefer: PINDIA Wooden Curved Spoons)
- 20 bowls (I prefer: Borosil Mixing Bowl)
- 1 Mixer-grinder( I prefer: Prestige Hero 550- Watt Mixer Grinder)
- 1 Grater (I prefer: Pearl Store Easy Grater)
- 1 Chopper (I prefer: Genius Nicer Dicer Plus Multi Chopper Vegetable Cutter Fruit slicer)
- 1 Water jug
Step by step procedure:
Step-1 Make fine paste of all the garam
masala ingredients in a grinder. Heat the
deep fry pan, add oil, star anise,cinnamon and add finely chopped onion and fry it.
Step-2 Now add paste of garam masala ingredients and chopped
tomato into that pan and mix everything well.
Now cover it with lid and cook masala for 4-5 minutes at low flame. Now add salt, and water . Mix
everything well and cover pan with lid and cook it on medium flame for 3-4
minutes. Gravy for kofta is ready.
Step-3
Make kofta’s
In a bowl
add all the kofta ingredients and keep aside it for 5 minutes. Now deep fry
kofta’s in a fry pan.
Step-4 Now add kofta’s to the gravy.
Garnish it with finely chopped
coriander leaves.
Enjoy it with plane rice…….!!
Tips:
- Add besan in very less amount otherwise your kofta's will not taste well.
- Add very less amount of water for making thick gravy.
- Add kofta,s in the gravy at the time of serving otherwise it will soak all the gravy.
