“Nutty Rice Kheer”




“Nutty Rice Kheer” Recipe

If you have some milk left unused in the kitchen OR have condense milk then you can prepare a very interesting and tempting sweet dish using rice called as Rice kheer. Aroma of  basmati rice and green cardamom powder  in this kheer makes it very tempting. You can prepare this kheer with leftover rice too. Once you prepare it, you will love to make it again and again. This is very easy and quick recipe that you can call it simple and quick sweet dish…add lots of dry fruits(nuts) into the kheer…Today  I am going to prepare this yummy kheer using  cow milk only..no condense milk required..have a look..

Ingredients:
1 cup soaked basmati rice
3 cups cow milk
6-7 teaspoon sugar
Green cardamom powder
2-3 teaspoon  dry fruits( finely chopped)
 Pinch of saffron

























Step by step procedure:



Step-1 Soak basmati rice in a water for atleast 15 mins.

Step-2 Heat a non-stick pan add milk and let it boil once. Now at low flame add sugar, saffron and rice into the milk. Mix everything well.
Cook it  until done, with continuous stir at medium-low flame.


When done garnish it with cardamom powder, grated nariyal, chopped kaju, raisins, makhana etc

Tips:
  • Always soak rice before making kheer.
