"Maida Mithai" Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup
All-purpose flour
50 gram
besan
½ cup ghee
1 teaspoon
food color
1 cup
sugar
1 teaspoon
green cardamom powder
2 teaspoon nuts(finely chopped)
Kitchen utensils required:
- 8 bowls (I prefer: Borosil Mixing Bowl)
- 2 non-stick pan (I prefer: Vinod Zest Non- Stick Friendly Pan)
- 2 Spatula (I prefer: PINDIA Wooden Curved Spoons)
- 1 Water jug
- 1 tray
Step
by step procedure
Step-1 Heat non-stick deep fry pan. Add
ghee.
Step-2 Add maida and besan. Mix everything
very well. Let it cook on low fame for 3-4 minutes.
Step-3 Take a deep fry pan, add water and
sugar in it. Let it boil on medium fame for 3-4 minutes. Now check continuously
until you get flowing string stage of the sugar syrup.
Step-4 When maida and besan are cooked
properly then add sugar syrup in it. Add food color and green cardamom powder.
Mix everything very well. Now transfer it into any plate or tray (greased with
oil).
Step-5 When it is cooled down then cut it into
the desired shape and then put nuts of your choice.
Tips
- If possible use deshi ghee for this mithai.
- Cook maida and besan on low flame.
