Tomato is easily available vegetable and most common ingredient used in any recipe. Tomato chutney is very yummy and easy to prepare. Many people prepare this chutney in different styles, but this recipe I mention, comes from my mom’s kitchen…simply awesome and amazingly delicious. This recipe does not require many ingredients yet it tastes great…have a look on the recipe to prepare it as suggested…..

Chutney Ingredients:
3 medium Red Tomatoes, chopped
1/2 teaspoon Red Chili powder
1 garlic scape
1/2 Green Chili, finely chopped

Salt to taste

Kitchen utensils Required:

  • 1 non-stick pan (I prefer: Vinod Zest Non- Stick Friendly Pan)
  • 1 Spatula (I prefer: PINDIA Wooden Curved Spoons)
  • 6 bowls (I prefer: Borosil Mixing Bowl)

Step by step procedure:

Step-1 Heat a non-stick pan and add chopped tomatoes over medium flame. Continuously stir and fry it for 4-5 minute.

Step-2  Add salt and finely chopped garlic scape to the tomatoes. Mix everything well and cook it on low flame for 2 minutes.

Step-3 Finally add chopped green chili and red chili powder.
Serve it hot with rice, dal, roti.

Tips:
  • Use fresh tomatoes.
  • Don't use too much garlic scape.
