“Buttercream-Chocolate Cake”




“Buttercream-Chocolate Cake” Recipe

Prep Time: 3 hour    | Cook time: 40 mins     | Serves: 3-4




Ingredients:

3 teaspoon chocolate syrup (for decoration)
1 Dark chocolate (for decoration)
1 white chocolate (for decoration)
2 teaspoon sugar syrup
1 cup salt


Cake batter Ingredients:
3/4 cup maida (all-purpose flour)
¼ cup cocoa powder
3 large teaspoon powder sugar
5 egg(at room tem)
2 teaspoon melted butter
1 teaspoon  vanilla essence







Chocolate buttercream Ingredients:
100 g amul butter(at room tem)
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ cup icing powder sugar(very fine)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon milk
½ teaspoon chocolate syrup(for rich flavor)




























Kitchen utensils required:
  • 6 bowls (I prefer: Borosil Mixing Bowl)
  • 1 Grater (I prefer: Pearl Store Easy Grater)
  • 1 cooker (I prefer: Prestige Popular Aluminum Pressure Cooker, 3 Liters)                                    OR
  • 1 Microwave ( I prefer: IFB 25DGSC1 25-Litre 1400-Watt Convection Microwave Oven )
  •   1 Electric hand blender (I prefer: Orpat OHM 207 Hand Blender)
  • 1 Silicone Spatula (I prefer: Rena Germany-Combo-Silicon Spatula)
  • 1 Water jug
  •  1 wire stand
  • 1 sheet of butter paper



                                          Step by step procedure:

Prepare sponge cake

Make Wipped Egg.
Step-1 Take bowl and add egg white into the bowl. 
Step-2 Now beat egg white with electric blender up to 10 minutes until you get ribbon stage of egg.
Step-3 Take another bowl and add egg yolk, powder sugar then mix both.
Step-4 Now transfer this into beaten egg having ribbon stage. Mix everything very well.
Step-5 Take another bowl, add maida, vanilla essence and melted butter. Mix them very well.
Step-6 Transfer this mix into beaten egg and egg yolk mix of step-4.
Step-7 Take baking tin, grease it with oil and put butter paper at bottom.
Step-8 Transfer the mix into that baking tin. 
Step-9 Preheat cooker
Heat cooker and add salt, wire rack into the cooker. Now cover the cooker with lid (without weasel) and let it preheat for 5 minutes on medium flame.

Step-10 Now put baking tin into the cooker and close the cooker with lid. Let it cook it for 40-50 minutes on low flame. When cooked take it out carefully, without burning your hand. Let it cool first and then take it out on a plate.

Prepare chocolate buttercream
Take deep bowl now add butter (at room tem), very fine sugar(icing sugar),milk, vanilla essence and cocoa powder. Use electric hand blender or whisk it till u get nice light and fluffy cream. Now add chocolate syrup and mix it. Chocolate buttercream is ready for the cake.
Prepare chocolate cake
Step-1 When your sponge cake is cooled down then cut it into two or three parts horizontally.
Step-2 Now apply sugar syrup on upper surface of all the parts.
Step-3 Take 1 spoon of  buttercream and apply it on cake stand. Now put cake’s 3rd part on cake stand. To the same part nicely apply lots of butter cream.
Step-4 Now take cake’s second part and put it on the 3rd part on which you have applied buttercream. 
Step-5 Now nicely apply lots of  chocolate butter cream on cake 2nd part. 
Step-6 Now take 1st part and put it on 2nd part. Now apply nicely buttercream on the first part.
Step-7 Take lots of  buttercream and apply it at all sides to cover all sides of the cake by just rotating it gently.
Time to decorate the cake
Put your cake in a steel plate or on aluminum plate. You can decorate cake with your choice. In this cake decorate it by chocolate syrup and then put lots of grated dark chocolate and white chocolate (for extra flavor and look). Now take piping bag with star nozzle and put lots of cream in that bag. Now decorate the top of the cake with cream. You can also prepare chocolate cream and then decorate it. Take some grated dark chocolates and put it on all sides of cake.

Tips:

  •  Don’t whisk the cream for very long time.
  • Use the  buttercream immediately when prepared. 
  • Use cooker or microwave to prepare sponge cake.If using microwave then first preheat oven at 180'c and then bake the cake at the same tem for 25-30 mins.
  •  Use 0 and 1 speed of electric blender.

“Chili Mushroom-Dry”




Chili Mushroom-Dry” Recipe

Preparation Time: 3-4 mins | Cooking time: 10 mins     | serves: 1-2


Ingredients:

6-7 Mushrooms

Oil for frying mushroom’s

Mushroom Masala Ingredients:
3-4 Garlic(finely chopped)
2 teaspoon oil
½ cup tomato sauce
½ cup soya sauce
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 medium onion cells
1/4 cup green onion leaves
¼ cup spring onion (finely chopped)
2 green chili(finely chopped)
3-4 pieces of red capsicum
3-4 pieces of yellow capsicum
5-6 pieces of green capsicum
pinch of sugar
1 teaspoon cornflour
Water as required
Mushroom fry Ingredients:
4 teaspoon all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon rice flour
Pinch of black pepper  powder
Salt as per your taste
Water as required

 



                                   




















                                             Step by step procedure:





1- Prepare Mushroom fry 

Step-1 Take bowl, add all the mushroom fry ingredients listed above and make medium consistency paste. Dip all mushrooms into the paste.

Step-2 Heat deep fry pan, add oil in it. When oil is hot then add mushrooms and fry them until light golden color. Take them out from oil.


2- Prepare Chili Mushroom

Step-1 Take deep fry pan, add oil. Now add finely chopped garlic and fry it for few seconds.

Step-2 Now add green, red, yellow capsicum and onion cells. Add pinch of salt and cook it with covered lid for 1 minute. Add green chili and cook it for few seconds. 

Step-3 Now add cornflour water paste and mix it well. Add tomato sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and pinch of sugar. Mix everything on high flame. Now add fried mushrooms into it and mix everything well. Chili mushroom is ready. Decorate it with chopped spring onions and coriander leaves. Serve hot.

Tips:


  •   Don’t make thick paste for frying mushrooms.

  •    Don’t over fry mushrooms.

  • Add more water in cornflour if you wish for gravy.
